Open Windows 10 Settings > System > Sound. Under Output, select your headphone from the dropdown. Adjust the volume using the Master Volume Slider. If that doesn’t work, try switching to each of them, and if you hear the audio, then that’s your headphone. It should work out of the box if your headphones as a microphone. Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar, select Open sound settings, choose Sound control panel on the right, and select the headphones (should have a green tick). Go to Settings > Devices > Autoplay to look for the device and change the default behavior in its Dropdown Menu. Right-click Volume icon in System Tray at the right end of the taskbar, Open Sound Settings, in dropdown menus at the top make sure Headphones are selected. If not, choose Troubleshoot. Right-click the Volume button (which looks like a little speaker) in the notifications area of the taskbar and in the menu that opens, click Playback Devices. In the resulting Sound dialog box, click the Speakers/Headphones item and then click the Properties button. Open Settings. Click on System. Click the Sound page on the right side. Under the "Output" section, click the "Choose where to play sound" setting. Select the speakers, headphones, or headsets you want to use. Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar. Select Open sound settings. Choose Sound control panel on the right. Select the headphones (should have a green tick).
