WEBAug 24, 2023. #1. Hey, I thought the Demon Scythe is rather unique as a weapon, yet only exists one place and is barely suitable for early hardmode for a little bit. It's been one of my favorite mage weapons. I'd like an improved demon scythe the more fancily embodies being a scythe of death.

WEBJan 24, 2019 · Go down to hell and build a plattform across the entire thing so you don't have to worry about the lava. Then use a strong longrange weapon or possibly like the arkalis and just run back and forth farming. Pretty much like farming the sharks. Edit: It is pretty time consuming.

Demon scythe is a pain to get, but it lasts for the entirety of pre hardmode + WoF and works well on all difficulties. I don’t really like space gun though, it’s too bland for a mage weapon. 6. WEBJust find something to do while you hunt it. Mine hellstone, or hunt for shadow chests. I got at least 5 of them while collecting ores down there. I probably sold some back to npc. Demon Scythe is the only pre1.1 weapon I find useful in hardmode world. In fact, I still use it along with hallow created weapons.

The Golden Shower and Clinger Staff, and Nimbus Rod are great support weapons, and you shouldn't use them as main weapons.
