WEBMay 27, 2015 · Previous post actually described annealing. normalizing is a process that reduces grain size. it is as simple as heating to critical and then cooling to black heat, cooling to just under non-magnetic and then cooling to black, heating to just under that and cooling to black. should take you 5-10 minutes.
